Before your wedding

Once you enquire, I will confirm availability for your wedding date!

To secure your date, a 20% payment and signed contract are required.

In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we will have a comprehensive design consultation to plan your color palette and discuss your timetable.

Everything will be carefully curated ahead of time so you can be fully present on the day.

your wedding day

I arrive at your wedding at our agreed time and when it is time to gather your reference photos (usually after your first look or ceremony), I will take you for a short photoshoot.

As the evening progresses, your guests will watch the artwork come to life in real time.

By the end of the night, your painting will be ready for your reveal before being refined in the studio.

If your photographer and videographer are present, I will let them know when the painting is ready for your reveal so that your reaction can be captured.

After your wedding

Following your wedding, I will take your painting to my studio for final detailing and varnishing. β€‹

The final touch ups typically take a few weeks, allowing each layer to be completed with care and attention to detail. Once finished, I will send a photo of the painting to you for your approval prior to varnishing.

Then, your completed painting will be ready to be collected from my studio or delivered depending upon prior discussion.

FAQs

How does live wedding painting work?

Each wedding is different and I make sure I work to your schedule for the day. We will have a full-consultation 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding to finalize these details.
In most cases, I arrive approximately 1 hour prior to the moment you wish to capture (e.g. a moment from a photoshoot, your first look, or ceremony). During this time, I set-up and prepare your canvas.
When it is time to gather my reference photos for the painting, I will meet you at our pre-discussed location. For example, your ceremony space. There, I will take a photograph the moment as it happens.
I will then use my reference photos to paint from while your guests watch on.
At the end of the evening, I will show you the painting and then bring it with me to my studio for touch-ups.
