About the artist

My name is Kelsey, and I’m an artist located in the Bay Area of Michigan. Since I can remember I’ve been painting and drawing alongside my family with an art studio always calling me. As of 2026, live painting has become a passion of mine. My main inspiration always being what feels close to my heart and home.

How my painting journey began:

Learning to paint portraits of Marilyn Monroe at a young age and selling in local galleries at 17. Then at 19 becoming represented in galleries across the nation. Having my first solo show at 25. Then eventually painting murals with local non profits and doing live paintings for silent auctions. Most artists I believe can relate to being an introvert at heart, which is why live painting brought out something new with me and my art. Being able to share my process and create something special to last a life time is what I love to be able to do.
