My name is Kelsey, and I’m a self taught artist located in the Bay Area of Michigan. Since I can remember I’ve been painting and drawing alongside my family with an art studio always calling me. As of 2026, live painting has become a passion of mine. My main inspiration always being what feels close to home.

How my painting journey began:

Learning to paint portraits of Marilyn Monroe at a young age and selling in local galleries at 17. Then at 19 becoming represented in galleries across the nation and at 25 having my first solo show. Now painting murals with local non profits and live painting for silent auctions. Weddings have become the next big thing to inspire me. 

Most artists I believe can relate to being an introvert at heart, which is why live painting brought out something new with me and my art. Being able to share my process and create something to last a life time is what I love to be able to do. 

It’s hearing about the couple I’m painting from their family and friends. The privilege of being able to share such an intimate day and joy of creating something so special!
